Clerk / Store Keeper Technical Eligibility Criteria
The Indian Army is a large organisation with each unit consisting of 600-1000 personnel and holding a large inventory of stores and equipment. There is a requirement of clerical staff to maintain the inventory, carryout documentation of personnel, book keeping and other routine correspondence. Thus there is requirement of candidates conversant in English and Maths / Book Keeping. Candidates passed XII with English and Math/Accts/Book keeping and secured 50% marks in each subject and 60% marks in aggregate can apply for ARMY Soldier Clerk / Store Keeper Technical.
Age: 17 ½ – 21 Yrs.
Chest: Minimum 77 cm & 5 cm expansion
Height: 162 cm
Education Qualification
(A) Should have secured 50% marks in each subject and 60% marks in aggregate in class XII.
(B) Should have studied English and Math/Accts/Book keeping in class XII. Should have secured min 50% marks in each subject.
(C) Selection is based on ALL INDIA MERIT LIST.
Documents Required: Education Certificate, Domicile Certificate, Caste Certificate, Character Certificate, Ration Card, Voter ID
1600 Meters Running
Candidates need to complete 1600 meters running in given time and will be awarded marks as below:
Ist Group : 60 Marks
IInd Group : 48 Marks
6-10 Pull Ups
10 and above Pull Ups : 40 Marks.
9 Pull Ups: 33 Marks
8 Pull Ups: 27 Marks
7 Pull Ups: 21 Marks
6 Pull Ups: 16 Marks

Physical Fitness Test – ARMY Soldier ARMY Soldier Clerk / Store Keeper Technical
The PET provides a measure of upper and lower body muscular endurance. It is a performance test that indicates a Soldier’s ability to perform physically and handle his or her own body weight. PFT standards are adjusted for age and physiological differences between the genders.
Here are some general pieces of advice for those who are working to improve their over-all physical fitness for Army GD Bharti:
Get plenty of rest (6-8 hours of sleep/night)
Eat a well-balanced diet (nutrition plays a HUGE role)
Warm-up, workout, cool down and stretch
Incorporate stretching into your workouts
Stay hydrated (8-10 glasses of water/day)
Make a plan for yourself
A. Start slow and at a comfortable pace
B. Progressively work your way up
C. Consider ladder or circuit workouts
D. Gradually increase number of repetitions, weight / resistance of gear and run speed
Medical Test Army Soldier ARMY Soldier Clerk / Store Keeper Technical
To be deemed “Medically Fit”, a candidate must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disease/syndrome/disability likely to interfere with the efficient performance of military duties in any terrain, climate, season incl sea and air, in remote areas, in austere conditions with no medical aid. Candidate also should be free of medical conditions which require frequent visit to medical facilities and use of any aid / drugs.
